Our Winters can be Scary
We in Edmonton have our own brand of driver, we all know it. Sometimes you need superhuman driving abilities just to make it to work in one piece, and that's where the 2020 Mitsubishi RVR comes in. RVR's anti-lock brakes are reinforced by it's Electronic Brake-Force Distribution system, further enhancing braking ability in the mess that can be our streets.
As if that weren't enough, the RVR also has a Brake Override System capable of partially compensating small input mistakes like wet winter boots losing grip on a pedal mid-operation. Using sensors programmed to adjust for things like unexpected additional brake pedal pressure (hey, some boots are thicker than others), this system will electronically adjust information sent to the EBD module mentioned above and determine the correct pressure on each wheel brake to keep you in control.
But stopping isn't always the best option. Ice around these parts is a fickle thing, and sometimes you're better off making sure you get through that yellow light safely. RVR has you covered again with specialized Traction Control Logic you can put the traction to the road, ice or no ice. Powered by a 2.0L inline 4-cylinder engine (2.4L available in some models), you'll have the torque available to get you moving when you need it. And there's nothing safer than driver confidence, bolstered by a vehicle capable of executing those decisions while maintaining absolute control.
